Vickie Ellen Ackerson

Vickie Ellen (Halsted) Ackerson, 70, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at her son's home, surrounded by family. Vickie was born on December 9, 1952, in Marysville, California, to George and Dovie Bohannon Halsted. She lived in London, Arkansas, with her daughter, Cassie, for the last nine years. Mountain Home was her second home. Vickie was best known for gardening and she was an amazing chef. She enjoyed traveling, nature, and spending time with her family and friends. She lived life to the fullest and could always find a reason to celebrate. She loved unconditionally. She was a fierce defender of her loved ones, especially her three children. She was kind to everyone and never met a stranger.

Vickie is survived by her son, Ryan (Lacey) Robb of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Sirena (Bruce) Seaborn of Vilonia, AR, and Cassie Quezada of London, AR; six grandchildren, Adrian (Hellen) Quezada, Shea (Jacqueline) Seaborn, Aaron Quezada, Victoria Robb, Hagan Robb, and Skye Seaborn; great-granddaughter, Giulia Quezada; and five siblings, Coy (Linda) Halsted, Wayne Halsted, Donna (Howard) Edwards, Judy Lockhart, and Steven (Susan) Halsted.

She is preceded in death by parents, and brother, Jay Halsted.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
