Funeral Services for Vickie J. Skiver Spurlock of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Keith Sharp officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24, 2013 5:00 - 8:00 pm, with family receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Vickie passed away April 23, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 59. She was born December 14, 1953, in Mesa, Arizona, the daughter of Curtis and Eula Boothe Spurlock. She worked as a medical assistant and lived in Mountain Home since 2006, moving from St.Louis, Missouri. She was a member of the Hwy 5 South Church of Christ. She enjoyed poetry and singing.
Vickie is survived by her son, Curtis (Heidi Volltrauer) Skiver of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Holly (Chad) Vincent of St. Louis, MO; parents, Curtis and Eula Spurlock of Mountain Home, AR; two brothers, Mike (Diane) Spurlock of Ames, IA and Larry "Bo" Spurlock of Mountain Home, AR, sister, Linda (Joe) Smith of Gamaliel, AR, three grandchildren, Brookelyn Skiver of Tyler, TX, Miranda McKee of Jefferson City, MO and Austin Vincent of St. Louis, MO and four nieces and nephews, Jessica Spurlock of Fairbanks, AK, Kylie Spurlock of West Lafeyette, IN, Joe Smith of San Antonio, TX and Kim Young of Jonesboro, AR.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with T.J. McDonald, Rocky Campbell, Trevor Campbell, David Hanson, Brandon Hanson-Sirois and Rob Miller as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Hwy 5 South Church of Christ or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
