A Gathering of Family and Friends with a Champagne Toast for Violet Marie Rentzsch of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be from 3:00 until 5:00pm, Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Pastor John Easterling officiating.
Violet passed away February 5, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. She was born October 5, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Herbert and Margit Claussen. She married Donald Arthur Rentzsch on December 3, 1966, at Chicago, Illinois. Violet lived in Mountain Home since 1992, moving from the Chicago Suburbs. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was also active in their group that printed books in Braille for the blind and sent all over the country. In her later years she loved to travel.
Violet is survived by her two daughters, Donna Williams of Albuquerque, NM and April Rentzsch of Lombard, IL; nephew, Herbert (Sherri) Anfinson of Georgetown, Ontario, Canada; two grandchildren, Cornelius and Colleen O'Connor and many dear and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother.
Inurnment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
