Virginia passed away April 12, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. She was born November 26, 1939, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Ernest and Anna Rader Hoopingarner. She was the co-owner of the Woods Landing Resort.
Virginia is survived by her life partner, Jim Wood of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Jennifer Walsh of Caseyville, IL and Julie (Randy Reamer) Clark of Belleville, IL; two brothers, Ernest R. Hoopingarner, Jr. of Buckley, IL and Clifford D. Hoopingarner of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Linda G. Cato of Edwardsville, IL and Bonnie Cade of Mahomet, IL; four grandchildren, Robin Reid, Jr., Rachel Briley, Mark Clark II and Roxanna Carr and one great-grandchild, Cadence Carr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Counts; son, Robert Counts and sister, Shirley Hoopingarner.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
