A Graveside Service for Virginia Faye Lunyou of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, May 25, 2018, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend James Cox officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Virginia passed away May 20, 2018, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was born December 7, 1936, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the daughter of Julius and Mary Mayfield Galloway. She married Bill Lunyou on March 4, 1961, in Grandview, Washington and was a Respiratory Therapist for Baxter Regional Medical Center. Virginia lived in Arkansas since moving from Sunnyside, Washington, in 1976. She was a member of the River of Life Assembly of God, Baxter Regional Medical Center Hospital Auxillary. She enjoyed volunteering at the Flippin Bargain Box.
Virginia is survived by her son, Billy Lunyou of Gassville, AR; granddaughter, Cortney Lunyou of Gassville, AR; great-granddaughter, Paisely Lunyou of Gassville, AR; sister, Geneva (Dave) DeVore of Gassville, AR; brother, J.D. Galloway of UT; and sister, Joy Galloway of Aurora, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Hershel Galloway, Clara Hodem, Dee Galloway, and Dale Galloway.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
