Vivian was born Wednesday, February 2, 1930 in Gary, Indiana to Charles and Edith VanCleef. She married Karl Kastendieck at Valparaiso, Indiana on May 15, 1965. Vivian was a homemaker and loved to cook, garden, and bowl. She was Co-owner of Driftwood Resort, a member of the Retired Fishermans Club, and the Bowling League. She lived in Bull Shoals for 8 years and was a Baptist by Faith. Vivian Kastendieck went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 12, 2008. She was 78 years old. Survivors: Vivian Kastendieck is survived by her husband, Karl Kastendieck, 2 Sons, David (Debbie) Kastendieck of Mountain Home, AR, Charles Clark of Hawaii, 1 daughter, Dawn Marie (Frank) Odya of Arizona, 2 Brothers, William (Josephine) VanCleef and Charles (JoAnn) VanCleef both of Indiana, 2 Sisters, Sylvia Kenney of Flippin, Arkansas, Charlene (Frank) Coraddo of Ohio, 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by 1 son, Robert Karl and 1 daughter, Sylvia Ann Revane. Visitation: Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M., Monday, December 15 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home - Bull Shoals. Funeral: Funeral Services for Vivian Marie Kastendieck of Bull Shoals, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Bull Shoals Baptist Church, with Reverend Jerry Backus officiating.
