Vonda Lovetta Parks

Funeral Services for Vonda Lovetta Parks of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 27, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ken Burton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.

Vonda passed away March 24, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82 with her children by her side. She was born April 19, 1932, in Bakersfield, Missouri, the daughter of Howard and Laura Davidson Turner. She worked as an assembler for Baxter Health Care and lived in Mountain Home since 1950, moving from Bakersfield, Missouri. She was a member of the Mountain Home Church of Christ. She was family oriented and interested in family history, genealogy, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.

Vonda is survived by her three sons, Eddie (Helen) Parks of Clarkridge, AR, David (Debbie) Parks of Mountain Home, AR and Bo (Vicki) Parks of Mountain Home, AR; one daughter, Judy (Don) Lewis of Mountain Home, AR; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Billy (Peggy) Turner of Bakersfield, MO; one sister, Sue Turner of Bakersfield, MO and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Burial will be in the Bean Cemetery, Gamaliel, Arkansas,with Bo Parks, Adam Parks, Baron Parks, Jennifer Stickles, Tom Stickles and Bradley Evans as pallbearers.
