Walter "Buddy" Bradshaw of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 13, 2022, in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 76. He was born May 16, 1945, in Dumas, Arkansas, the son of Walter and Frankie (Hoover) Bradshaw. He married Barbara Rieves on April 12, 1968, in Gould, Arkansas. Buddy was a U.S. veteran of The National Guard. Buddy lived in Mountain Home since moving from Gould, Arkansas in 1990. He was a farmer and loved working outside. Buddy loved hunting, fishing, the Rocky Mountains and Yellowstone. Buddy loved working at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery; meeting and helping the visitors that came out there. He loved playing jokes on his friends too. But most of all Buddy loved spending time with his granddaughter. He fell in love with her the first time he held her.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Barbara Bradshaw of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Vonda Sears; and granddaughter, Cassadi Sears.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Graveside Service for Buddy will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Dark Corner Cemetery. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
