Walter Hamilton

Walter R. Hamilton was born September 5, 1912 in Calhoun Co. Iowa to Harry A. and Allie Kelley Hamilton. He married Majorie Stoakes on April 19, 1936 in Humbolt, Iowa. Mr. Hamilton moved to Mountain Home in 1978 from Wheeling, Illinois. He died Friday, December 3, 2004 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 92. Survivors: Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife; Marjorie Hamilton, two sons; Dale Hamilton and Ronald and Linda Hamilton, one daughter; Shirley Carman, one sister; Helen Green and 11 grandchildren, 12 great grand children, and 2 great great grand children Preceded in Death by: He was preceded by his parents and one brother. Funeral: Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Burial will be at Cottonwood Cemetery in Lake City, Iowa.
