Walter passed away August 16, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. He was born July 8, 1925, in Argentina, Kansas, the son of Oscar and Hazel Trueblood Harrison. He married Emogene Nadine Benson on April 6, 1947, at Olathe, Kansas and was self-employed. Walter was a WWII U.S. Air Force veteran. He was honorably discharged from the 8th Air Force Division, 349th Bomb Group, 92nd Squadron. He was a ball turret gunner on a B17 bomber. Walter lived in Mountain Home since 1990, moving from Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoyed baseball and football.

Walter is survived by his wife, Emogene Harrison of Mountain Home, AR, two sons, Steven (Beverly Gray) Harrison of Mountain Home, AR and Jack Harrison of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Donna Harrison of Jonesboro, AR; adopted children, Darlene & Stacy; three great-grandchildren and brother, Robert Harrison of CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Johnny.
