A Funeral Service for Walter Cameron Holley of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Randy Ludwig, Reverend Thomas Frase, and Reverend Heather Clawitter officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Walter passed away September 19, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born May 10, 1932, in Arcadia, Louisiana, the son of Edwin and Lucille King Holley. Walter was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and moved from Louisiana to Ozark, Arkansas, in 1955. He married Zo Ella Whitson on February 23, 1957, at Ozark, Arkansas. Walter worked for Halliburton Oil Well Service Company in Louisiana from 1955 until he moved back to Ozark, Arkansas, in 1967. In Ozark, he worked for Anderson-Whitson Ford as a salesman and service manager, until he purchased the company in 1974. Walter owned and operated Holley Ford, Incorporated in Ozark, Arkansas, was a chairman of the Memphis District Ford Dealers Association, a member of the National Ford Dealership Council for three years, and served on the Ozark City Council for 15 years. In 1993, Walter sold the dealership and retired to Mountain Home, Arkansas. In Mountain Home, Walter worked at the Burnett Lincoln Paden Clinic for three years, where he helped with errands, banking, and other tasks in the office. Walter was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was on the administrative board, serving some time as the Trustee Chairman he was also on the board of directors for Hospice of the Ozarks for ten years. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home, playing golf and Bridge, fishing, and was a pilot.

Walter is survived by his wife, Zo Ella Holley of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Kellye (Michael) Cannon of Mountain Home, AR; two grandchildren, Cameron (Lauren) Cannon of Russellville, AR, and Hollye Lynn (Aaron) Lee of Little Rock, AR; and brother, Gary (Lela K.) Holley of Dayton, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janice Combs; and brother, Waymon Holley.

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at the Highland Cemetery, Ozark, Arkansas, with Phil Garner, Mike DeMass, Justin Bolding, Mike Crotts, Cameron Cannon, and Aaron Lee as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home, Arkansas or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
