Mr. Walter "Red" Koepp

A Memorial Mass for Walter C. "Red" Koepp of Lockport, Illinois, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Friday, April 10, 2015, at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend Father Chris Okeke, as Celebrant.

Walter passed away January 8, 2015, in Lockport, Illinois at the age of 94. He was born January 29, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Julius and Elsie Schmidt Koepp. He married Beatrice on February 24, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois and was a Milk Man for Bordon's Dairy. Walter was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Walter lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas, since moving from Chicago, Illinois, in 1976. He was a member of the Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W. Post #1341. He enjoyed spending time with people, family, and friends.

Walter is survived by his step-son, Richard J. Lagoski of Chicago, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews, including, JoAnn Hecht of Lockport, IL, and Chris Adas of Lockport, IL

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three brothers.

Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church.
