Walter Lee Lewis died July 20, 2008 at the age of 68. He was born Saturday, March 16, 1940 in Marion County, Arkansas, the son of George Owen and Florence Hand Lewis. He married Viva Lewis on April 13, 1981 at Enin, Arkansas and worked as a roofer. Walter was a lifetime resident of Marion County and loved to fish and hunt and was very outgoing and ornery. Survivors: Walter Lewis is survived by his wife Viva Lewis of Yellville, AR, son, Jerry Lewis of Searcy, AR, 3 daughters, Joann (Dean) Kelly of Bruno, AR, Stacy (Paul) Smith of Harrison, AR and Brenda (Billy) Hensley of Snow, AR,10 grandchildren,12 great great grandchildren,3 brothers, Eugene Lewis of Yellville, AR, Dale Lewis of Phoenix, AZ and Keith Lewis of Fort Smith, AR. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by 1 sister and his parents. Visitation: Visitation will be form 5-7 PM at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home - Bull Shoals. Funeral: Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Summit Pentecostal Church of God with Jason Stallings officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Locust Cemetery, Lead Hill, Arkansas. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the family. Active Bearers: Melvin Sherman, Dillon Kelley, Willy Caviness, Paul Smith, Randy Henderson, Billy Henderson and Dean Kelley will act as pallbearers.
