Walter Luthin

Walter Luthin died Monday, April 21, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 73. He was born Saturday, April 28, 1934 in Hinsdale, Illinois, the son of Walter F. and Florence Craigmile Luthin. He married Judith Austen on February 20, 1960 at LaGrange, Illinois and worked as a Systems Aircraft Controller for United Airlines. Walter lived in Mountain Home since 1992 moving from Cary, Illinois. He was a member of the Elks and enjoyed fishing, playing Pinochle and Bridge and loved his cat, Spook. Survivors: Walter Luthin is survived by his wife, Judith Luthin and 2 sons, Craig (Pamela) Luthin of Taylorsville, KY and Christian (Ranay) Luthin of Orland Park, IL and 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Zakary and Stefanie. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. Funeral: A memorial service for Walter F. Luthin of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
