Walter Meyer

A visitation for Walter Wood Meyer of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Kirby and Family Funeral Home Chapel. Walter passed away March 24, 2012, at his residence at the age of 53. He was born August 25, 1958, in Nyack, NY, the son of Jules and Esther Posenato Meyer. Walter worked as a Sporting Goods Salesman for Wal-Mart for 20 years. Walter lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1990 moving from Massapequa, NY. He Loved animals, the outdoors, hunting, gardening, Nascar and wrestling. Walter is survived by his mother; Esther Meyer and father; Jules Meyer both of Mountain Home; 4 brothers; Harry Meyer of Upper Marlboro, MD, Mark (Andrea) Meyer of Alexander, AR, Phillip (Tracey) Meyer of Houston, MO, and Craig Meyer of CA; 4 sisters; Debra, Cynthia, & Linda Meyer all of NY and Harriet (Harry) Scheetz of New Windsor, NY. Memorials may be made to the North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
