Funeral Services for Walter J. Myslinski will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with military honors by the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council and Honor Guard by American Legion Alley White Post 52.
Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 8, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Kirby-Conner-Boaz Funeral Home.
Mr. Myslinski was born Aug. 15, 1927, in Chicago to Adam and Constance Zaranski Myslinski. He Married Theresa Dolanski, March 1, 1949. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and spent 40 years with the Chicago Fire Fighters Union Local 2. He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Myslinski of the home; four sons, Mike Myslinski and wife, Arlene, of Lake Villa, IL, Mark Myslinski and wife, Rose, of Crossville, TN, Steve Myslinski and wife, Debra, of Forestview, IL, and Carl Myslinski of Chicago, IL; one daughter, Ruth Nowicki and husband, Ken, of Chicago, IL; one sister, Clara Gronkowski of Chicago, IL; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by is parents and 14 brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers include Adam Myslinski, Nicholas Myslinski, Mike Myslinski, Steve Myslinski, Mark Myslinski, and Carl Myslinski.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Kirby-Conner-Boaz Funeral Directors, Batesville Casket Company and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree as a living memorial and tribute to Mr. Myslinski.
