A Graveside Service for Wanda Lee Brown of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Dwayne Maynard officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 4:00 - 6:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Wanda passed away November 19, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. She was born December 8, 1932, in Weatherford, Oklahoma, the daughter of Berry and Lucy Smith Campbell. She married John I. Brown on February 19, 1967, at Reno, Nevada and worked as a nurse. Wanda lived in Mountain Home, since 1982, moving from Freeport, Illinois. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, puzzles and spending time with family.
Wanda is survived by her two daughters, Emily (Bobby) Payne of Gassville, AR and Cindy (Mike) Harris of Bakersfield, MO; son, Delmer (Teresa) Maynard of Cotter, AR; seven grandchildren, Robert, Scott and Krystal Payne, Eddie (Jessica) Suit, Misty (Antonio) Morris, Dwayne (Crystal) Maynard and Beverly (Troy) Amaral and eleven great-grandchildren, Bracksten, Kaleah, Mikayla, Alex, Anthony, Aric, Haven, Anna, Kyzer, Macey and Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Brown, brother, Delmer Campbell and great-granddaughter, Brianna.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR,with Dwayne Maynard, Eddie Suit, Robert and Scott Payne, Troy Amaral and Agustin Castro-Vazquez as pallbearers.
