Wanda passed away September 17, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 77. She was born March 14, 1937, in Bismark, North Dakota, the daughter of Grant and Ruth Gundlach Hartley. She married James Esser on July 20, 1973, at Silver Bay, Minnesota. Wanda lived in Mountain Home since moving from Duluth, Minnesota, in 1998.
Wanda is survived by her husband, James Esser of Mountain Home, AR, and daughter, Ruth Larson of Colorado Springs, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will be in the Scattering Gardens at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
