A Celebration of Life for Wanda L. Keeter of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, September 19, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Keith Sharp officiating.
Wanda passed away September 11, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. She was born March 27, 1932, in Bradford, Arkansas, the daughter of Joseph and Edria West Turner. She married Lowell Keeter on September, 17, 1949 at Tupelo, Arkansas and was a homemaker. Wanda lived in Mountain Home since 2006, moving from Dearborn, Michigan. She was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, playing games on her tablet and gardening.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Linda (Michael) Kelly of Monroe, Michigan; three sons, Garry (Diana) Keeter of Dearborn Heights, MI, James (Deborah) Keeter of Westland, MI and Craig Keeter of Ft. Meyers, FL; brother, Carlos (Lynn) Turner of Newport, AR; two sisters, Peggy Nance of Newport, AR and Edria Ressler of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Scott, Marty and Justin Keeter, Joshua Compton, Ashley Nedeau, Caulay Keeter and Wanda "Nicki" Nedeau; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, James Stanley, Marion Turner and Joe Turner, Jr.; sister, Mildred Ripley and three grandchildren, Bobby, Eric and Kathleen.
Burial will be in the Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
