Wanda Joan Merriman

Wanda Joan Merriman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 26, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. She was born March 27, 1929, in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Harold Jordon Bare and Catherine Patrick Bare. Joan lived in Mountain Home since moving from Willow Springs, Illinois, in 1973. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain Home. She enjoyed fishing, racing, and motorsports. She loved angels, blue birds, chocolate, and especially loved her dogs. Joan was thrilled to drive her golf cart around her neighborhood, visiting with her friends and neighbors.

Joan is survived by her son, Chad (Julie) Merriman of Mountain Home, AR; and was "MeMoe" to her granddaughter, Logann Merriman.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Graveside Funeral Service for Joan will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Dr. Tad Rogers and Dr. David Johnson officiating. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Mountain Home or the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
