A beacon of light has dimmed as Wanda Jean Henry Rosenbaum bid farewell to this world on May 29, 2024. Born in Moline, Illinois, on August 14, 1956, her journey was one marked by compassion, dedication, and unwavering love for those around her. Wanda's professional path was adorned with milestones that showcased her commitment to caring for others. Initially starting as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1995, she then transitioned to a fulfilling tenure at John Deere until her well-deserved retirement in 2012. Her educational pursuits at Blackhawk College in Moline, Illinois, where she mastered LPN, welding, and CAD-CAM degrees, laid the foundation for her impactful career. She was the head of the women's committee of the UAW Local #434.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Wanda could attest to her outgoing nature, warm demeanor, and a welcoming spirit that enveloped all who crossed her path. Her love knew no bounds as she dedicated herself to assisting anyone in need with a loving heart that resonated deeply within the community. Beyond her professional endeavors and acts of kindness, Wanda found solace and joy in various hobbies such as fishing, gardening, and nurturing flowers. These simple pleasures brought her immense happiness and tranquility amidst life's hustle and bustle. Her proudest accomplishments were not found in accolades or material possessions but rather in the cherished relationships she cultivated throughout her life. Wanda's family held a special place in her heart - especially her beloved grandchildren whom she cherished dearly.
As we mourn the loss of Wanda Jean Rosenbaum, we find solace knowing that she is reunited with her parents, William and Wanda Clevenger Henry; daughter, Nicole Henry; and brothers, Ronald William "Bill" Henry and John Henry in eternity. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by Ronald Rosenbaum - her loving husband; daughter, Beth (Tony) Moore; grandchildren, Samuel McKinney and Jamie Rosenbaum; great-granddaughter, Martha and another on the way; brothers, Larry (Bev) Henry, Bob Henry, Delbert (Debbie) Henry, Don (Jeanie) Henry, Pat (Reanne) Henry; sister Edith (Mark) Brunat; along with countless family and friends whose lives were touched by her grace.
In the tapestry of life that Wanda Jean Rosenbaum has woven with threads of generosity and kindness, may her memory continue to brighten our days and inspire us to live with an open heart as she did. Funeral Services will be private, with a Celebration of Life held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
