Mr. Beaman was born January 22, 1931 in Blue Rapids, Kansas to Erma Lukens Beaman and Arthur L. Beaman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home. He served in the Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Beaman moved to Lakeview in 1960 from Topeka, Kansas where he worked as a lineman for Kansas Power & Light. He and his family ran a resort on Bull Shoals Lake for 12 years. During that time, he also founded Beaman Realty in 1968. He was an Arkansas Realtor for 44 years. He was a charter member of the Mountain Home Multiple Listing Service, helped organize the Bull Shoals-White River Organization, and was a founder of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He served on the Grover Township Fire Department as a commissioner and was a member of the Lakeview-Midway Water Association for many years. He was also a member of the Baxter County Planning Commission. Survivors: His wife of 55 years, Marilyn Kelling Beaman, two daughters, Linda (Gary) Pitts of Mountain Home, Susan (Tony) Taylor of Midway, five grandsons, Nick (Anna) Pitts, Blair Taylor and Lance Taylor of Fayetteville, Ryan Pitts of Mountain Home, and Drew Taylor of Midway, two great grandchildren, Annaston and Lydia Pitts of Fayetteville, one sister Dolores (Wayne) Medearis of Hixon, TN.
