Wayne Buzzell

Wayne Buzzell died Friday, January 23, 2009 in Davenport, Iowa at the age of 80. Wayne Buzzell was born Monday, December 24, 1928 in Tracy, Minnesota, the son of Mark Lester and Minnie Canedy Buzzell. He married Wilma Mae Wells on January 1, 1949 at Tracy, Minnesota and owned and operated Wayne Transfer Service. Wayne Buzzell was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea. Wayne lived in Mountain Home since 2000 moving from Davenport, Iowa. He was a member of the Elks Lodge # 1714. Survivors: Wayne Buzzell is survived by 1 son, John (Vicki) M. Buzzell of Davenport, IA, 4 daughters, Roxanne (Bill) Lipes of Davenport, IA, Melanie (Dennis) Menken of Des Moines, IA, Sue Ellen Buzzell of Davenport, IA and Wendy C. (Brian) Matis of Austin, TX, 2 brothers, Lee (Eileen) Buzzell of Bettendorf, IA and Donald (Pat) Buzzell of St. Cloud, MN, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his wife, 1 daughter, 3 brothers, 6 sisters and parents. Funeral: A memorial service for Wayne Elwood Buzzell of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be held at 10:00 A.M, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge #1714. Another memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Randy Ludwig, officiating.
