Wayne Schneider

Wayne Eugene "Duke" Schneider was born October 11, 1938, in Creighton, Nebraska. He was the son of Wayne and Wilma Burt Schneider. He married Dohna Bushong on December 5, 1997, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Mr. Schneider lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Iowa in 1988 and owned Schneider and Son lawn maintenance business. He enjoyed painting, card games, board games, fishing and assembling Christmas villages. He was a loving husband and father and a member of College and North Church of Christ. Duke Schneider passed away March 27, 2006, at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 16 days. Survivors: Wife, Dohna Schneider, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sons, Roy Schneider of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Eric (Jinny) Schneider of Omaha, Nebraska; three daughters, Tangie (Rusty) Granzella of Salida, Colorado; Rhonda (James) Arroyo of Longmont, Colorado; and Stacy (Craig) Carter of Chariton, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Heather, Daulton, Dillon, Ashley, Skylar, Autumn, Anthony and Cali Rose; brother Terry Schneider of Snohomish, Washington; four sisters, Myrna Weigel, Aubyn McMains, Cheryl Waters and Judy Stephenson, all of Mountain Home, Arkansas; mother, Wilma Schneider of Mountain Home; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Amber, Olivia, Barbie, Kim, Debbie, Gayle, Jim and Richard Preceded in Death by: His father Funeral: A memorial services for Wayne E. "Duke" Schneider, 67, of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, at College & North Church of Christ with Brothers Ken Burton and Jim Griffin officiating. There will be a reception preceding the memorial service at the church from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Memorials: College and North Church of Christ Children's Home
