Weta Meland

Weta Meland died Friday, April 24, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 79. She was born Tuesday, December 24, 1929 in Lake City, California, the daughter of Mervin and Daisey Jewell Franklin Toney. She worked as a bank teller for Bank of America for 35 years and was a house mother for AGR Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA for 10 years. She was a member of the Willows Baptist Church in Willows, CA. Weta lived in Mountain Home since 2008 moving from Wisconsin. Survivors: Weta Meland is survived by her daughter, Cheri Adams of Mountain Home, AR, 2 sons, Ole Meland of Arlington, WI and Gary Meland of Lime Ridge, WI.
