Memorial Services for Wilhelm A. "Bill" Bosold of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating.
Bill died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Mountain Home, at the age of 88. He was born December 26, 1921 in Fulda, Germany, the son of Alfred and Anna Bitter Bosold Umbach. His father died when he was little and he was raised by his step-dad, Sy Umbach. He married Emma C. van Driessche on February 12, 1949 at Kassel, Germany and worked as a Shipping Clerk for Wisconsin Electric Power. Bill lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1981 moving from Greenfield, Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge and loved to dance.
Wilhelm is survived by his daughter, Regina (Karl) Nigemann of Mountain Home, AR; 3 grandchildren, Christina (Mike) Magee of Mountain Home, AR, Susan (Marty) Perry of Benton, AR and Scott (Jennifer) Nigemann of Belle Vista, AR; 4 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Emily, Siena and Koen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 2 brothers.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
