A Memorial Service for Willene Cook of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Heather Marsalis as Celebrant.
Willene passed away December 22, 2016, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 95. She was born November 14, 1921, in Florida, the daughter of William Warren and Notie Moore West. She married Stuart Cook and lived in Mountain Home since 1976, moving from Eudora, Arkansas. She was a member of the Cedars and Seeders Garden Club, enjoyed gardening and former president and very involved in the Women's Club. She loved life and was adventurous.
Willene is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debora Cook of Mountain Home, AR; nieces, Jane Kulbeth and Marilynn Mullins of Pensacola, FL; step-daughter, Courtney Blossman of Ashville, NC and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son William "Bill Fox" Cook, step-son, Stuart Cook and sister; Wilma "Willie" Dawson.
Inurnment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or charity of choice.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
