William "Bill" Doughty

A Gathering of Friends for William "Bill" Doughty, 68, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be 2-4PM Friday February 28, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals. Bill died Sunday, February 23, 2014.
Bill was born July 15, 1945, at Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Elizabeth Ernst Doughty. He married Judith Grosshuesch on January 1, 1983. Bill worked as a Director of Information Services for Abbott Labs. He fell in love with Bull Shoals on a fishing trip and moved to Arkansas in 2010 from Columbus, Ohio. Bill never lost his love of being on the lake. He was a member of the Bull Shoals Retired Fisherman and the Corvette Club. Bill was the true center of his family, always available for whatever they needed.
Bill is survived by wife, Judith Doughty of Bull Shoals, AR; daughters, Tania Ohle (David) of Westerville, OH and children, Gabe and Benny; Elizabeth Wehausen (Matthew) of Luxemburg, WI and daughter, Austyn; son, William Doughty (Meredith) and daughter, Cambrie of Westerville, OH and sister, Mary Ann Lyons (Jerry) of FL. His parents preceded him in death.
