A Graveside Service for William Henry Cooper of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Monday, December 23, 2013, at Baxter Memorial Gardens, with Mike Beck officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 and the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guards.
Bill passed away December 19, 2013, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 67. He was born January 27, 1946, in Salinas, California, the son of Clinton Calvin and Hester Lucille Karr Cooper. He married Kathy Hiles on March 16, 1965, at Kansas City, Kansas and was a truck driver and river guide. Bill was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and lived in Gassville for over 40 years, moving from Kansas City, Kansas. He enjoyed trout fishing, NASCAR, baseball and other sports.
Bill is survived by his wife, Kathy Cooper of Gassville, AR; one son, Troy (Rhonda) Cooper of Gassville, AR; two daughters, Tonya (Terry) Bell of Flippin, AR and Renee (Terry) Stanger of Mountain Home, AR; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly Rust, William W. Cooper, Thomas Cooper and Michael Cooper; 3 great-grandchildren, Riley Rust, Kasey Rust and Brett Tabor; one brother, Calvin (Rosemary) Cooper of Forsythe, MO; one sister, Linda (Doug) Golden of Salmon, ID and his granddogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Brandon Tabor.
