A Celebration of Life for William ?Bill? J. Idstein, 67, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be held Wednesday August 24, 2011 from 2 to 4PM at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. Bill passed away August 12, 2011 at Crystal Lake, IL.
Bill was born November 9, 1943, at Elgin to Bernard and Jeanette (Wilkenson) Idstein. On May 13, 1992, he married Thelma ?Buzz? at Arkansas. Bill recently retired after residing in Bull Shoals, AR for 25 years moving here from Crystal Lake, IL. He was proud of owning his own auto shop, Master Brake, in Bull Shoals. Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother, Bernie and in his younger years he was active racing dune buggies.
He is survived by one son, John (Shellie) Idstein of Crystal Lake, IL; grandchildren, Karly and Dylan Idstein of Crystal Lake, IL, Kyle and Korey Buss of Crystal Lake, IL, and Justin Bonds of Bull Shoal, AR; sister-in-law, Judy Idstein of Elgin, IL; and his nephews Bob (Barb) Idstein and Brian (Tammi) Idstein of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brother.
