Services for William Michael "Bill" Langley of Pyatt, Arkansas, will be announced at a later date.
Bill passed away May 13, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 68. He was born February 7, 1949, in Chicago, IL, the son of William Carleton and Dorothy Roberts Langley. Bill had both a Bachelor of Physics Degree from Whittier College in California and Juris Doctor Degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. In the 1970's he was a member of the Peace Corps in Malaysia. He spent many years working for Halliburton Oilfield Services on the west coast of Africa, primarily Angola. He retired in 2016 to enjoy life in Pyatt, AR, after 30 plus years as a Geophysicist for Halliburton Oilfield Services.
Bill is survived by his mother, Dorothy Langley of Mountain Home, AR, sisters; Susan Langley of Mountain Home, AR, Margie (Bruce) Whittaker of Dana Point, CA, and Peggy (Kevin) Kenna of Muncie, IN, nieces and nephews; Michael (Lauren) Whittaker, Michelle Whittaker and Matthew (Avanti) Whittaker, great nieces and nephews; Jack, Luke, Drew, Weston and Von Whittaker and his cousins; Clifford Langley, Carol Ouellette, Don Langley, Gary Langley and Jean Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Carleton Langley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that his friends do something positive and generous for someone else, the hallmark of Bill's life.
