William Langston

William "Jack" Langston was born October 16, 1930, at Wideman, Arkansas, to Walker and Garnett Hand Langston. He married Maxine Parnell on April 9, 1951, at Norfork, Arkansas. Rev. Langston was a First Assembly of God minister who pastored and built numerous churches throughout Arkansas for 45 years. His life was completely dedicated to the service of God and caring for his family. He enjoyed gospel singing with his daughter and family, and hunting and fishing with his boys. He also enjoyed gardening and working with wood. He was a member of Galatia Assembly of God Church. Survivors: wife Maxine Langston of Mountain Home, Arkansas; three sons, Ron (Lila) Langston of Norfork, Arkansas; Eddie Langston of Nashville, Tennessee; Joey (Diane) Langston of Norfork, Arkansas; one daughter, Bonnie (David) Engelhart of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one brother, Charles Langston of Lincoln, Nebraska; ten grandchildren, Melissa, Keri, Megan, Kassie, Mallory, Michele, Kortney, Jeannie, Elizabeth and Joseph; two step-grandchildren, Kenny and Stacy; one great-grandson, Tyler; and several nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: his parents, one sister and four brothers Visitation: 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2006, at Galatia Assembly of God with Rev.
