William Henry Mothershead was born January 28, 1931 in St. Michaels, Maryland. He was the son of William Henry and Rosa Adeline Seymour Mothershead. He married Lucy Holloway on April 16, 1986 in Maryland. He served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed as a rural mail carrier with the United States Post Office in Easton, Maryland. Mr. Mothershead moved to Flippin, Arkansas from Maryland in 1995. He was a farmer, and member of Alley-White American Legion Post $52, the Marion County Democrats, and Yellville United Methodist Church. William Henry Mothershead passed away at his residence on June 5, 2005, at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 7 days. Survivors: Wife of nineteen years, Lucy Mothershead; brother, Robert Frederick (Dolores) Mothershead of Easton, Maryland; sister Adeline Langrell of Easton, Maryland; three daughters, Lynn (John) Kuhn of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Christine (James) Coudon of Bel Air, Maryland, and Kathy Mothershead of Easton, Maryland; three stepdaughters, Carol (Don Freese) Collins, Mary Margaret (Jeff May) Knotts and Ann Elizabeth (Steven) Isbert, all of Baltimore, Maryland, and fourteen grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Parents Funeral: Memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2005 at the Yellville United Methodist Church with Reverend Nicholas Lascaro officiating Burial: Hurlock, Maryland Memorials: Yellville United Methodist Church; Marion County Library, or Bull Shoals Friends of the Library
