William Parrish

Funeral services for William J. Parrish, 65, of Salesville, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mike Howell officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until service time. William died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Mountain Home. William was born Monday, August 14, 1944 in Monette, Arkansas, son of Firest Stanford and Bertha Henderson Parrish. He married Mildred Holland on August 16, 1971 at Memphis, Tennessee and worked as a cutter for Mar-Bax Shirt Factory. William lived in Salesville since 1986 moving from Senatobia, Mississippi. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. William is survived by his son, Larry Parrish of Salesville, AR, brother, James Parrish of Mountain Home, AR and sister, Brenda Kennedy of Jonesboro, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, 2 brothers, Stanford Eugene Parrish and Bobby Ellis Parrish, and 1 sister, Marcella Despard.
