William Henry Pittman, Jr., of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away February 4, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born October 6, 1929, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of William and Lavena Holder Pittman. He married Myrna Robertson on June 2, 1951 in Marion, Arkansas and was a Meter Reader for Memphis Light Gas Water. William lived in Mountain Home since moving from Memphis, Tennessee in 1990. He was a member of City on a Hill Church. He had a ministry with children for over 60 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
William is survived by his wife, Myrna Carol Robertson of Mountain Home, AR; sons, Bill Pittman, III of Gassville, AR and David Pittman of Threeway, TN; daughters, Debbie Pittman of Mountain Home, AR and Donna Pittman of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Susi Vanguilder of Midway, AR, Dave Pittman of Midway, AR, Ben Pittman of Little Rock, AR, Joseph Pittman of Jackson, TN, and Andrew Pittman of Threeway, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank Leon Pittman; and sister, Alice Marie Dial.
A Memorial Service for William will be at 3pm, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at City on a Hill Church in Mountain Home, AR, with Pastor Barry Lagg officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
Memorials may be made to City on a Hill Church Children's Fund.
