Funeral Services for William H. Thompson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Friday, March 15, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
William passed away March 9, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89. He was born October 5, 1923. William was a U.S.Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He lived in Mountain Home since 1986, moving from Leyden, IL. He was a member of the American Legion and The Elks Lodge.
William is survived by his brother, Edward R. (Barbara) Thompson of North Richland Hills, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Irene.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
