Willie Dunman

Memorial Services for Willie G. Dunman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be Friday, December 31, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Slagle, officiating. Mr. Dunman died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, at the age of 75. He was born January 27, 1935 at Ft. Benning, Georgia, the son of Zachary Taylor Dunman and Annie Elmer Johnson Dunman. He married Betty Lou and had been a resident of the Mountain Home area since moving from Smith, Alabama in 2003. He served with the US Army for 22 years working as a cook during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Chef at David's Restaurant in Cincinatti, Ohio. He enjoyed puzzles, crafts and ham radios. Willie is survived by a daughter, Tina (Randy) Weaver of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Becky Pennypacker of Dover, Delaware and Edith May of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 1 brother, Harold Eugene Dunman of Bossier City, Louisiana; 4 grandchildren, Michelle, Steven, Shaunda and Anastasia; 3 great grandchildren, Caillou, Keegan and Zander. He was preceded in death by his paents, wife and 2 brothers. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
