Willie Heine

Willie G. Heine was born March 14, 1926, at Caseyville, Kentucky, to Rudd and Bernis Merritt Heine. He married Jan Clendenin on March 14, 1980, at Concord, California. He was a master plumber, machinist, steam pipefitter, lithographer and newspaper press operator. He was supervisor for a major Northern California newspaper chain the last 22 years prior to retirement to Mountain Home from Concord, California, in 1987. He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific (Okinawa) during WWII. He enjoyed classical music, helping his neighbors and was a great storyteller. Mr. Heine was a lifetime member of the VFW, a former member of the Oklahoma City Masonic Lodge, and a former Hospice volunteer for Hospice of the Ozarks. He was of Protestant faith. Survivors: Willie G. Heine is survived by his wife Jan of Mountain Home; son Robert (Roxanne) Heine of Antioch, California; stepson Tim (Becky) Bouscal of Tracy, California; three sisters, Sarah (Jim) Voris of Kansas City, Missouri; Mary Jo (Kelly) Vaughan of Kansas City, Missouri; and June Shockley of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one daughter. Funeral: A memorial service for Willie G. Heine, 80, of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donna Majetic officiating.
