A funeral service for Willie Thomas Gay, of Yellville, Arkansas, will be private. Willie passed away March 15, 2013, in Yellville, Arkansas at the age of 75. He was born October 29, 1937, in Eastman, Georgia, the son of Richard and Etta Mullis Gay. He married Mary Gay January 24, 1959, at Hawkinsville, Georgia. Willie was a U.S. veteran of the Marine Corps. Willie lived in Yellville, since 1991 moving from Hollywood, Florida. He was a member of the Yellville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed tinkering with his tools. Willie is survived by his wife, Mary K. Gay of Yellville, AR; daughter, Peggy McCullough, of Yellville, AR; grandchildren, Brandy Feltmate, Jacob Lawler, and Alya McCullough; sisters, Barbara Mason of North Carolina, Janie Kimbrough of Georgia, and Bitsey Lasalvia of Florida; and his dog Snowball. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Paul Gay and his sister Gertrude Gay. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
