She was a member of the Church of Christ and was retired from American Greetings in Osceola, Arkansas. Her parents, both deceased are Charlie Vaughn and Virgie Mills Vaughn (Dyess, AR). Her children: daughter, Carol Williams from Bay, AR married to James Williams; daughter, Jean Scott from Mountain Home, AR married to Ray Scott; daughter, Cheryl Beard (deceased) Osceola, AR. Her grandchildren are Herbert Helms (Mountain Home, AR); Marietha McGarity (Jonesboro, AR); Norene Finley (deceased) (Blytheville, AR); Mary Ferguson (deceased) (Bay, AR); Lynn Ballard (Little Rock, AR); Brandy Towery (Caraway, AR); Cheri Beard (El Dorado); and Johnny Beard (Little Rock). She leaves numerous great and great-great grandchildren and brothers/sisters: Eugene Vaughn, Edward "Buddy" Vaughn, Clyde Dale "Slugo" Vaughn and Gary Vaughn. Deceased brothers and sisters are: Jackie Vaughn; Mildred (Vaughn) Bolick, Gladys (Vaughn), Lucille (Vaughn) Minton Bennett, Charles W. Bay Vaughn, Jessie (Vaughn) Moore, Jolean (Vaughn) Forister, David Vaughn, Robert "Slick" Vaughn, and Adrian "Chick" Vaughn.
