Funeral Services for Windle "Troy" Perrin, 79, of Bull Shoals, AR will be 2PM Thursday February 14th, 2013, at the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church with Reverend Terry Hart officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6PM Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR. Troy died Saturday February 9, 2013 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center. Troy was born July 12, 1933 at Reed, Oklahoma, to Roy and Thelma Perrin. He worked as a Roustabout in the Kansas oil fields before serving his country in the Korean War as a United States Marine. Fifty eight years ago he married, Betty Broetzmann on October 3, 1958 at Holyrood, KS. He retired after 35 years as plant manager for Wayne Chemical Corporation in Milwaukee, WI. Troy and Betty owned and operated the Mar-Mar Resort in Bull Shoals, AR for 8 years and were active members of the community. Troy was a Lifetime member of the Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 Veterans of Foreign Wars, past president of the Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club, past member of the Bull Shoals Police Auxiliary, Retired Fisherman?s Club and a private pilot. He was a member of the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church. Troy lived up to the true meaning of being a husband, father and grandfather. Troy is survived locally by wife, Betty; daughter, Cindy Perrin; grandson, Jonathon Perrin (Lindsey) and great-grandson, Joel Perrin. He is also survived by his brother Dr. Joe Perrin and sister, Barbara Arnold of Texas; sisters, Jeanne Gelnar of Oklahoma and Ima Lee Sampson of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Peggy Ramage. Burial will be in Newton Flat Cemetery of Bull Shoals, AR with Jonathon Perrin, Tony Taylor, Ron Proctor, Bruce Powell, John Wormeringer, and Robert Hobbs as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearer is Dr. Joe Perrin. Military Honors by Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
