Funeral Services for Witold "Vic" Jan Dembski of the Promise Land area of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 12:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Promise Land Bible Church, with Reverend Jim Beard officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at the church. Vic died Monday, June 13, 2011 at his residence, at the age of 87. He was born September 30, 1923 in Natchez, Mississippi, the son of Witold Jan and Helena Olszewski Dembski. Vic was a Captain in the Polish Underground during WWII. He married Loretta Przybylski on July 22, 1950 at Chicago, Illinois. After moving from Franklin Park, Illinois in 1969, they established Edgewater Resort on Bull Shoals Lake. Vic is survived by his wife, Loretta of the home; 2 daughters, Sue (Bob) Wilson of Promise Land, AR and Lyn (Sam) Holloway of Athens, AL; 4 grandchildren, Jim (April) Clawson, Kristen Holloway, Kaylee Holloway and Kenneth Holloway and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his by parents and brother, Richard. Memorials may be made to the Promise Land Bible Church or the Promise Land Community Center.
