Woodrow Hill died Sunday, October 26, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 96. He was born Friday, July 26, 1912 in Pawnee Rock, Kansas, the son of Samuel Page and Matilda Jane (Tillie) Williams Hill. He married Otsie Mae Melton on December 2, 1960 at Wichita, Kansas and was a minister for the Assembly of God Church for 35 years. He graduated from Bible College in Waxahachie, Texas. Woodrow lived in Lakeview since 1971 moving from Oklahoma City, OK. Survivors: Woodrow Hill is survived by his daughter, Jimmie (W.A.) Osborn of Lakeview, AR, 3 grandchildren, Darryl and Jerry Osborn of Mountain Home, AR, and Cheryl (Brian) Evans of Port St. Lucie, FL, 4 great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Bobbie, Britney and Brandi and 3 great-great-grandchildren, Christian, Trey and Conner. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and 5 sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from 1-3 P.M., Tuesday, October 28 prior to service time at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Woodrow W. Hill of Lakeview, AR, will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jerrel Venable officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Amos Cemetery, Lakeview, Arkansas. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Church.
